It is with deep regret and sadness that we hear the news about the most recent school shooting in Parkland, Florida. To the families of those we have lost, our thoughts and prayers go out to you.
Unfortunately, tragic events like this have become far too common. The time has come for more than thoughts and prayers.
Now is the time for common sense gun safety legislation. It’s time that our elected officials hear our voices and rise as one to bring about the end of these horrific mass shootings and the daily killings that occur due to gun violence. The memory of those lost deserve it.
